Billing, cancellation and refunds
Separate build and hosting charges, failed payments, and rights when a service goes wrong.
1. What each payment buys
The standard build has no build fee. The optional Creative AI Build is A$49 once for the package shown before payment and is not a recurring AI subscription. Hosting is separate and begins only through a separate subscription checkout if that service is activated. Each checkout identifies the amount, included limits and whether the charge recurs before purchase.
2. Payment states and duplicate charges
A cancelled, pending or interrupted checkout does not prove payment succeeded. Payment status is confirmed through the payment provider and reconciliation records. Do not pay again merely because a browser return was interrupted; recover or check the existing purchase first. Report a suspected duplicate or unauthorised charge to Info@creeleydigital.com.au or call 1300 386 247.
3. Service failures and statutory remedies
Australian Consumer Law rights are not removed by describing an AI build as custom work or by a general no-refunds statement. Depending on the failure, a customer may have rights to correction, cancellation, refund or compensation. The appropriate remedy depends on the circumstances and applicable law.
If an AI build fails, the platform should preserve the purchase record and make the supported recovery or review options clear. It must not automatically require a second payment for the same unsettled obligation.
4. Hosting cancellation and changes
If recurring hosting is activated, its checkout and billing portal must show the renewal basis and provide a way to stop future renewals. CartArchitect will explain the effect on shop availability and data access before enforcing a suspension. No minimum term or silent change-of-mind restriction applies unless it is clearly disclosed and lawfully agreed before purchase.
If a material service or price change requires consent or gives a cancellation or refund right, the customer must receive the required information and remedy. A price change must not be hidden in a rewritten policy page.
5. Purchases from a seller's shop
A shopper's goods or services are supplied by the named seller. Contact that seller about delivery, product faults and product refunds, using the shop's customer-care details. CartArchitect should provide an appropriate report route for suspected fraud or misuse; this allocation does not remove any platform responsibility imposed by law.
